Ghana’s longest serving Sports Minister, Enoch Teye Mensah has died at the age of 77.
The former Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Constituency was confirmed dead on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
E.T Mensah died in South Africa after battling with a short illness.
Born in Koforidua on May 17, 1946, E.T Mensah first entered the Sports Ministry in 1992 as a Deputy Minister before being promoted to the substantive Minister role In 1993.
He also served the Republic as a Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram from 1997-2001.
