Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has praised Bibiani GoldStars head coach Frimpong Manso, calling him one of the most respected figures in the Ghana Premier League.
Ogum’s comments come ahead of the highly anticipated matchday 15 clash between Kotoko and GoldStars, set to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, December 27, 2024.
“Goldstars is a very big team, they have great players and have one of the respected coaches in the person of Frimpong Manso, whom I look up to so much,” Ogum said.
While acknowledging the challenging nature of the upcoming game, Ogum expressed confidence in his team’s ability to rise to the occasion. “It’s going to be a tactical game with a lot of aggression… but we are ready,” he stated.
Asante Kotoko currently sits 5th in the Ghana Premier League standings with 24 points, while GoldStars occupy 2nd place with 27 points.
