On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku will address the 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
During his address, President Simeon-Okraku will provide updates on the strategic initiatives being implemented and discuss new ideas for execution. He will focus on the strategic elements of phase two of the GFA’s agenda, which aims to address fundamental issues in Ghanaian football and build on the progress made since the last congress on July 10, 2023, in Kumasi.
The Congress, which spans two days, will include a range of events for delegates. On Monday, activities will feature group discussions on key topics affecting Ghanaian football, followed by fun-filled games, a presentation, a photo session, interviews, and a sod-cutting ceremony for a new gymnasium and swimming pool. Delegates will also tour the refurbished accommodation facilities.
The main session of the Congress will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. President Simeon-Okraku will attend various meetings throughout the two days and participate in the special fun games planned for the event.
