Ghana captain Andre Ayew has arrived in Doha ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup draw today ahead of November’s competition.
The 33-year-old who plys his trade in the Asian country who will be staging the tournament later this year joined the Ghana Football Association president, vice president together with other officials.
He missed out on the two-legged Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs against the Super Eagles of Nigeria due to suspension.
He was Ghana’s top scorer during the the qualifiers and is expected to lead the Black Stars team in their fourth appearance at the Mundial.
He arrived in the City, Doha ahead of the draw after missing out on the two games that took Ghana to the competition this term around.
This will be his third FIFA World Cup appearance after playing in the 2010 and 2014 respectively.
