Ghana captain Andre Ayew scored his 7th league goal of the season for Al Sadd SC on Saturday evening against Al-Ahli in the Qatari Super League.
The 31-year-old grabbed his side’s third goal of their 4-1 win at home to extend their unbeaten streak in the league this campaign.
Hassan Al Haidos scored the only goal of the first half for the home team before Baghdad Bounedjah made it 2-0 nine minutes after the break.
Patrick Eze grabbed a consolation goal for the visitors on 68th minute mark but Ayew converted a spot kick ten minutes from full time to restore the home team’s two goals lead.
Bounedjah scored from the sportsworldghana.com late in the match to make the final score 4-1 with his brace.
The Ghanaian international, Ayew has seven goals in seven consecutive matches in the Qatar Super League.
