The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is in talks with Brighton & Hove Albion defender, Tariq Kwame Nii-Lante Lamptey over the possibility of playing for the Black Stars according to halftimegh.com.
Lamptey rose to through the ranks of Chelsea academy and has become one of the best young defenders in Europe.
Before his permanent move to Brighton, the youngster caught the attention of several clubs including PSG following his display against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Tariq Lamptey, 19, replaced Fikayo Tomori in the 59th minute where he was a lively presence helping Chelsea come back from 1–0 down to win 2–1.

He signed a three year deal with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Despite representing England at the U16-U20 level, Tariq Lamptey still remains eligible to play for Ghana at the senior national level.
His father has openly declared he wants his son to play for his motherland Ghana.
Tariq has so far made five appearances for Brighton.
