Aduana Stars FC, CEO Albert Commey, has vowed to offer his unflinching support to Dreams FC owner Kurt Okraku if only he decides to contest for the Ghana Football Association top seat.
The ace football administrator has already made known his support for Mr. Okraku even though he is officially yet to declare his candidature.
Former vice President of the country’s football governing body George Afriyie who doubles as Division One League side Okyeman Planners bank roller, Winfred Osei Parma, owner of Tema Youth Football Club, Nana Yaw Amponsah, owner of Phar Rangers and Fred Pappoe of Accra Great Olympics are all hoping to succeed Kwesi Nyantkyi as the new Ghana FA boss.
”Kurt Okraku will be my candidate for the GFA presidency if he comes out,” Commey told Asempa FM.
”It’s important we get a quality person to lead Ghana football He asked for my opinion and I told him to go for it.
”I will be disappointed if Kurt Okraku doesn’t contest I believe his manifesto will be a true reflection of our game,” he concluded.
The GFA Normalisation is expected to hold congress on 30 September, 2019 to elect a new FA President and all executive members.
