The Nana Foso Gyeabour Park on Sunday, October 22, 2023, will host the first Bone derby of the ongoing Ghana Premier League as Bechem United host local rivals Berekem Chelsea.

Bechem United are having a difficult start in the ongoing 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season with some fans already calling for the head of coach Bismark Kobby Mensah.

The Hunter’s 1-0 home win against Dreams FC on match day two has been their only victory in the season after five games.

Bechem United have lost 3 games already, 2-0 away against Nsoatreman, 4-1 humiliation to Samartex in Samaboi and a 2-1 home defeat to Champions Medeama SC on match day four.

They drew 1-1 at the El Wak Stadium aaigianst Legon Cities and are hopping to build on it against Berekem Chelsea.

While Bechem United are bottom on the league table, Berekem Chelsea who are also not having a great start are 9th on the Premier League table.

Chelsea have won two games, drawn 1 and lost two against Aduana Stars and Karela United.

Berekem Chelsea’s two victories came in a 2-0 home win against Bibiani Gold Stars and a 1-0 scoreline against newcomers Nations FC at the Golden City Park.

Meanwhile, Berekem Chelsea are yet to record a victory in 5 away games against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League.
