Ghanaian giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC will on Sunday afternoon at 3pm hosts Medeama SC in the week 31 of the ongoing 2022-23 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Phobians will hosts ‘Brothers’ Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium with both teams fighting for the league title with Medeama SC in a better position than the Accra lads.
Hearts of Oak have had so many ups and downs in the ongoing league and a win against the Never Give Up lads could put their campaign back on track.
The Rainbow Boys have lost three games out of their last five games picking up just six points from a possible 15 points in those five games losing to Bechem United, Tamale City and Samartex.
Medeama SC on the other hand boast of three wins and two defeats in their last five matches with both losses coming on the road against Accra Lions FC and Nsoatreman FC.
In their last five meetings in the Ghana Premier League, Hearts of Oak SC have won three with the visitors winning the other two games with no draw in their last five games.
Medeama SC are second on the league table after 30 games with 50 points and two points behind leaders Aduana Stars FC with four games left.
Hearts are fifth on the league table after 30 games with 45 and has a slim chance of winning the league title mathematically but seven points behind the leaders making it a tough task.
The game will kick off at 3pm on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
