Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the recently crowned champions of the Ghana Women’s Premier League, have been placed in Group B for the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone B Group B qualifiers.
In Group B, Ampem Darkoa Ladies will compete against As Garde from Niger and Friend of the World representing Togo. Their journey in the CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers will commence on August 18.
If they progress to the final, they will secure a spot in the main CAF Women’s Champions League tournament.
Group A consists of Union Sportive from Burkina Faso, Athletico from Cote D’Ivoire, and SAM Nelly from Benin.
The qualifiers will take place in Nigeria, and the top two teams from Group B will earn qualification for the second edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League.
