Ghanaian defender Jamaldeen Haruna delivered a spectacular goal as Raufoss clinched a decisive 4-1 victory over Egersund in the Norwegian 1. Divisjon on Monday afternoon.
At NAMMO Stadion, Raufoss showcased their attacking prowess despite Egersund dominating possession. Oliver Rotihaug opened the scoring just two minutes into the match with a header from a left-wing cross. Jakob Nyland Ørsahl doubled Raufoss’s lead in the 30th minute, finishing off a precise delivery from Victor Fors.
Haruna’s standout moment came midway through the second half, when he fired an unstoppable shot from 16 meters out, leaving Egersund’s goalkeeper with no chance. Erlend Hustad further secured Raufoss’s dominance with a fourth goal about 15 minutes from the end.
Egersund managed a consolation goal late in the game, with Magnus Lankhof-Dahlby scoring from a corner kick, but it proved insufficient.
