German-born Ghanaian defender Kofi Schulz has formally signed contract extension with SKN St. Polten after successful negotiations.
Schulz,30, signs a new two-year deal with the NV Arena outfit until summer 2022.
“We are very happy that Kofi Schulz has decided to extend his contract with us,” the club’s Sporting director Georg Zellhofer said.
“In the crucial phase, he proved how important he is to the team and, with his positive attitude and character traits on and off the field, has contributed a lot to the success of the past few weeks,” “Accordingly, he [Kofi Schulz] took his chance and enjoys the full trust of the coaching team.”
He has previously played for FC St. Gallen, FC Winterthur, SKU Amstetten, Apollon Smyrnis, MK Dons and Hertha Berlin.
The left-back has scored one goal with five assists in his 10 appearances for SKN St. Polten so far this season.
