Honduras-born Ghanaian defender Wisdom Niiayitey Quaye has officially completed a move to CD Victoria during the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old right-back signed a permanent deal with the La Ceiba-based club and is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening their defense as they compete in the Honduras first-tier league.
Quaye’s addition is a significant boost for CD Victoria, who are determined to make a strong impression in the Liga Nacional Apertura. The talented defender brings valuable experience from his time with CDS Vida and Real España, where he showcased his defensive prowess.
Born in La Ceiba to Ghanaian parents, Quaye has represented Honduras on multiple levels, including playing at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup. He made his senior debut for the Honduras national team in January 2022 and has since earned three caps.
Quaye’s move to CD Victoria marks another chapter in his promising career as he looks to make a significant impact both domestically and internationally.
