Ghanaian forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh shone for his club FC Zürich against Yverdon in the Switzerland Super League on Sunday night.
The Black Meteors captain was given his first ever start at the club since leaving Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC to sign for the club after the 2023 Africa Nations Championship in Algeria.
The 22-year-old had four shots at goal and completed ninety percent of his attempted passes in the seventy minutes he spent on the field of play for his team.
Zürich beat the newly promoted team Yverdon Sport Football Club 2-0 to start their 2023-24 campaign with a win at home.
