Ghanaian forward Jerry Afriyie has emerged as a transfer target for a Belgian top-flight club ahead of the 2026/27 season, following an impressive breakthrough campaign in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
The 19-year-old striker recently returned to parent club Al Qadsiah after completing a successful loan spell with RAAL La Louvière, where he established himself as one of the league’s exciting young attacking talents.
Afriyie made 31 appearances across all competitions, playing 2,497 minutes and recording five goals and one assist during his ten-month stay in Belgium.
The Ghana U20 star impressed with his pace, movement, technical ability and confidence in front of goal, attracting attention from clubs searching for emerging African talent.
One of his standout moments came in a memorable performance against Belgian giants Club Brugge, where his match-winning contribution further highlighted his potential.
Despite missing out on Ghana’s final stages of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, Afriyie’s consistent club displays have continued to raise his profile across Europe.
