Ghanaian international forward Kamal Sowah was a delight to watch for Standard Liège in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Leicester City FC player got the winning goal for his team as they travel to beat Oud-Haverlee Leuven on the road to gradually get back their campaign on track.
Sowah, who joined the club on loan from Club Brugge KV played full throttle for his team in their 2-1 win which takes them 12th position on the table with 10 points and temporarily out of the drop zone.
Just before the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Wilfred Kanga scored the opener for the visitors to make 1-0 at halfway to Standard Liège.
Hamza Mendy restored parity for the home team four minutes after the hour mark with a fine finish to make it one all with 26 minutes left to play.
Ten minutes away from the full time whistle, Sowah scored the winner for the Red and Whites outfit as they won 2-1 on the road.
