Ghanaian forward Ropapa Mensah found the back of the net for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in their USL League match against Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC on October 15, 2023.
Mensah was part of the starting lineup at the TicketSmarter Stadium at Future Legends Complex and played the full 90 minutes.
While the Red Wolves applied significant early pressure, it was Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC that outshot them 10 to 5 by the end of the first half.
In the 22nd minute, Mark Hernández opened the scoring for the home team.
Despite their efforts to equalize, the Red Wolves fell further behind in the 42nd minute when Bruno Rendón capitalized on a low cross from Trevor Amann.
Mensah managed to reduce the deficit for the Red Wolves with a goal in the 63rd minute.
The Red Wolves made their final substitution in the 87th minute, introducing Alex Tejera for Jonny Filipe in an attempt to mount one last attacking push.
However, Irvin Parra of Northern Colorado sealed the victory with a goal in the 90+3rd minute during stoppage time.
