Ghana winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is attracting strong interest from Championship leaders Coventry City, who have made enquiries about a possible loan move in the January transfer window.
The Crystal Palace attacker could be heading back to the English second tier after an impressive spell in recent seasons. Rak-Sakyi spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, where he scored seven goals and provided two assists in 34 league games, helping the club finish third on the table.
After Sheffield United failed to secure promotion, the 23-year-old returned to Crystal Palace and later moved on loan to Turkish side Rizespor, where he has already scored four goals in 11 league appearances this season.
Coventry City are keen to strengthen their attacking department as they push for automatic promotion to the Premier League. Club officials believe Rak-Sakyi’s pace, creativity and Championship experience could be vital in the second half of the season.
However, Crystal Palace are yet to decide whether to allow the Ghana international return to England or keep him in Turkey for the rest of the campaign.
