Ghanaian attacking midfielder Abdul Rashid Fuseini has been named NK Tabor Sezana’s Player of the Month for November, marking a historic achievement as the first Ghanaian to receive this accolade at the Slovenian club.
The 21-year-old, who joined Tabor in September 2023 on a free transfer, impressed with consistent performances throughout the month, playing in all four league matches.
Fuseini’s contributions were crucial in helping the Red-Blacks remain unbeaten, securing three wins and one draw in the Slovenian Second Football League. He played a key role in the team’s 2-2 draw with ND Bilje and delivered a commanding performance in their 1-0 victory over NK Krka.
His impact continued in Tabor’s 3-1 win over Tolmin, followed by another 3-1 triumph against Jadran Dekani, where he played the full match in both encounters.
Currently, Tabor Sezana sits in third place in the league standings with 32 points, just one point behind leaders Gorica.
Fuseini has made 14 appearances so far this season, scoring once, and continues to establish himself as an important player for the team. A product of Accra Young Wise, Fuseini’s journey from Accra Shooting Stars to Slovenian football highlights his growing potential as a promising talent on the international stage.
