Ghanaian midfielder Baba Iddrisu is on the brink of signing with Spanish La Liga club UD Almeria.

Iddrisu is set to leave his current La Liga team, Real Mallorca, in search of more playing time. Despite Mallorca finishing 9th in the league last season, Iddrisu was not a regular player, prompting his potential move to Almeria.

Almeria is currently engaged in negotiations with Mallorca and the player’s representatives for a transfer during the summer window, which could amount to approximately 6 million Euros.

After narrowly avoiding relegation, the Rojiblancos have been active in the market, aiming to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Iddrisu joined Mallorca in 2014 from Leganes and has one year remaining on his current contract with the club.
