Ghanaian international striker Antoine Semenyo has put pen to paper on a five-year contract extension with Bournemouth, committing himself to the club until 2029.
The news comes after an impressive first season with the Cherries, where he made 36 appearances and scored eight goals across various competitions.
Semenyo initially joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023, and his outstanding performance has earned him a new deal. The 24-year-old has been a key player under head coach Andoni Iraola, and his contributions will be crucial as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
The Ghanaian international will look to build on his fine form, which saw him score two goals in 21 appearances for the Black Stars since making his debut in June 2022. With a strong preseason underway, Semenyo will be eager to maintain his momentum and help Bournemouth make a strong start to the 2024/25 season.
Bournemouth’s upcoming fixtures include matches against Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, and Everton in August, and Semenyo will be hoping to make an impact in these high-profile games.
With his new contract extension, he is now set to spend at least the next five years with the club, cementing his status as a key player for both Bournemouth and the Ghana national team.
