Ghanaian striker Jonathan Sowah showcased a brilliant performance for Al-Nasr Benghazi against Al Hilal Benghazi in the Libyan Premier League on Monday.

The former Medeama SC standout netted four goals, propelling his team to a dominant 6-3 triumph at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi.

The 25-year-old forward converted two penalties and scored two more sublime goals in the matchday 17 encounter.

Sowah opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a penalty, followed by another successful spot-kick three minutes later, doubling Al-Nasr’s lead.

The Black Stars striker completed his hat-trick just before half-time and added his fourth goal in the 72nd minute. Defender Mohamed Eshtewi and Tunisian player Mohamed Ali Jouini contributed the remaining goals.

This significant win solidifies Al-Nasr’s lead in the league standings with 37 points.

Since joining Al-Nasr from Medeama in January, Sowah has scored five goals and provided an assist in seven appearances.

Reports indicate that the prolific striker has been included in Ghana’s squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic.
