Ghanaian attacker William Owusu registered two goals on his debut for Ajman Club in the UAE Pro League on Thursday night.
Owusu’s double helped Ajman salvage a point in their 2-2 away draw against Baniyas.
The Ghanaian international became the star boy at the Baniyas Stadium in Abu Dhabi as he struck in each stanza of the game.
Owusu snatched the opener two minutes before recess before competing his brace with a fine finish in the 82nd minute before Ayanda Patosi responded a minute later to make the game 2-2.
Owusu who has previously played for Sporting Lisbon and a host of clubs in Europe, was signed as a free agent this summer after leaving Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp.
Owusu’ was handed his maiden Black Stars call up after being included in Coach Kwasi Appiah’s 18-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
