Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kamal Sowah was red carded when Club Brugge snatched an important point against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Ghanaian international was on target last week against the Spanish side in Brugge but two yellow cards in each half in Madrid ensured he exited the pitch.
However, Sowah’s sending off didn’t affect his club as Club Brugge went ahead to secure a point to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, Sowah will be suspended for Brugge’s home clash against FC Porto next week and that won’t be any massive blow to the talented Winger following his side’s qualification.
Sowah’s compatriot Denis Odoi, who plays for the Black Stars had a solid game at right-back for the Belgian side.
Sowah has scored two Champions League goals this season.
