Ghanaian forward Ernest Poku came from the bench to help his side secure a vital away win in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday evening for AZ Alkmaar.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian teen inspired his team to a well deserved comeback win over RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch top-flight for the Red and Whites outfit.

Michiel Kramer scored the opener to put the hosts in the lead with a well taken spot kick to make it 1-0 on the 41st minute mark.

Eight minutes after his introduction to the game, Poku picked out Evangelos Pavlidis to score the equalizer for the away team in the second half of the match to make it 1-1.

Dani de Wit made it 2-1 to AZ Alkmaar five minutes later, with a special individual goal to make it 2-1 to the Red and Whites outfit.

He provided an assist again to Pavlidis to score the insurance goal for the away team in the 79th minute to make the final score 3-1 to AZ.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward has three assists in two Dutch Eredivisie games dir AZ Alkmaar all as a substitute.
