Ghanaian teenage striker Jalal Abdulai has finalized his transfer to Swedish top-flight club IF Elfsborg during the ongoing transfer window.
The young Ghanaian attacker has secured a permanent move to IF Elfsborg from Ghanaian lower-tier side Inter Allies after impressing the club during his trial period in the spring.
Abdulai, 18, has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2027, providing him with an opportunity to further develop his skills at the Swedish club.
Expressing his delight about the move, the young forward stated, “I believe this is the right step for me, and I am extremely happy that everything is now finalized, making me a true Elfsborg player.”
“When I arrived, I initially began training with the U19 team, but then they informed me that they wanted me to join the senior team instead. I’m thrilled that they were satisfied with my performance, and it brings me great joy,” added Jalal.
The talented teenager from Ghana is expected to be available for selection in upcoming matches for the yellow-shirted club this weekend.
Jalal Abdulai will join fellow Ghanaians Michael Baidoo and Emmanuel Boateng at IF Elfsborg, who compete in the top-flight league in Sweden.
