Ghanaian defender Joseph Aidoo has emerged as the defender with the most clearances in the Spanish Laliga after matchday two.
Aidoo was once again was at his quality best over the weekend for Celta Vigo and lasted the entire duration of the game as they recorded a 2-1 win against Valencia at the Estadio de Balaídos.
The Black Stars central defender topped the list of first six players who have made the most clearances since the start of the 2020/21 season.
Aridane Hernández Umpiérrez of CA Osasuna finished second with 12 clearnces whiles Real Sociedad defender Aritz Elustondo finished third with 10 clearances.
David García of CA Osasuna fame was ranked fourth on the list with 10 clearances.
Finishing fifth and six positions respectively on the list were Granada CF defender Germán Sánchez and Mouctar Diakhaby of Valencia.
