Striker Prince Opoku Agyemang’s first half strike was enough to give Medeama SC a slim 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko in match day four of the Ghana Premier League fixture in Tarkwa.
The former New Edubiase United striker brilliantly converted a penalty in the first half to register his fourth goal of the season on four games.
Maxwell Konadu’s side however, could not finish the game with all the eleven men who started the game after left-back Imoro Ibrahim was sent off in the second half after being flashed with a second yellow card.
The defeat in Tarkwa, means that Asante Kotoko have suffered two successive defeats after losing 1-0 to Berekum Chelsea last Sunday in Kumasi.
