Great Olympics attacker Maxwell Abbey Quaye grabbed a memorable equalizer for his team during the Greater Accra derby against Hearts of Oak as the game ended 1-1.
But Abbey Quaye – who scored against the Phobians during the first round as Olympics won two nil – popped to punish Hearts of Oak once again this season.
The talented footballer – 8 goals this season in the league – headed home in the 72nd minute to cancel Emmanuel Nettey’s beautiful effort of the 51st minute.
Abbey was not largely involved in the game of Olympics who played as the away team but he was at the right place at the right time to shake the net when his team needed it the most.
