Accra Great Olympics defender, Samuel Abbey Ashie-Quaye has landed in Switzerland ahead of a move to Swiss Super League outfit FC Basel.
The talented youngster arrived in Switzerland on Sunday together with his representative to finalize the necessary documentation for the transfer of the player.
Abbey Ashie-Quaye is expected to sign a long-term contract with the club should all negotiations go through.

The 20-year old left-back was one of the standout performers in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, helping Olympics to a sixth-place finish.
He was an instrumental figure in the Black Satellites team that won the 2021 African Youth Championship in Mauritania earlier this year.
Ashie Quaye was handed a late invite to the senior national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Ethiopia in August under then Ghana coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor.
