Hasaacas Ladies and Ampem Darkoa Ladies are preparing for another exciting clash in the 2023/24 Ghana Women’s Premier League final, marking their fourth consecutive showdown in the championship.
The two teams earned their places in the final by winning the league titles in their respective zones.
Hasaacas Ladies dominated the Southern Zone, securing their eighth title with a decisive 3-0 victory over Faith Ladies.
Meanwhile, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the reigning champions of the Northern Zone, experienced a setback in their final league match, losing 1-0 to Kumasi Sports Academy. Despite this defeat, they qualified for the final.
The much-anticipated final will take place at the University of Ghana Stadium on June 8. The winner will earn the opportunity to represent Ghana at the WAFU Zone B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers in August.
Last year, Ampem Darkoa emerged as the champions and will be looking to defend their title against the strong challenge posed by Hasaacas Ladies.
