Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has named Ghanaian centre-back Mohammed Salisu amongst the top defenders in the English Premiership.
Hasenhuttl is convinced that Salisu is a quality player though he still can improve in some aspects of his game.
“I think against the ball he’s one of the best defenders in the league, for sure,” Hasenhuttl told HampshireLive.
“With the ball, he has definitely room to improve and he knows this, he has had better.” He added
Salisu was instrumental on Sunday as Southampton drew 1 -1 with West Ham.
