Hearts of Oak board member Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe is confident that the club’s problems from last season will be fixed before the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
Despite a disappointing run-in to the season, which saw them escape relegation with a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over Bechem United on the final day of the Ghana Premier League, Nyaho-Tamakloe is optimistic about the team’s prospects.
The Phobians also suffered a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the first edition of the Democracy Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium, marking their third consecutive loss to their arch-rivals.
However, Nyaho-Tamakloe remains convinced that the team’s issues can be addressed ahead of the new season.
“We have a problem at the moment, but that problem will come to an end before the start of the league 2024-2025,” he told Joy Sports. “And my reason is quite simple. You know, we have a coach we think can be stable and then be able to pick the best of boys that we need, have good control over them and give them the training that they require.”
