Black Queens goalkeeper Cynthia Findib Konlan says she is confident the team can find their way past Guinea if they play according to the coach’s instructions.
Ghana will face Guinea in the first round of the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier with the first-leg coming off on Friday, July 14.
Cythian is in the final 23-woman squad announced by head coach Nora Hauptle and believes the team could come back with victory if they get their plan right on Friday.
“As a goalkeeper, you always need to be ready. Black Queens work as a team and we know what we can do and we know what our coaches have been giving us,” she told the press after the team’s final training session in Accra.
“If we put everything into practice, Guinea will be a step over.”
The Black Queens are chasing a first appearance at the Olympic Games.
