Astute Football administrator, Wilfred Kwaku Osei Palmer has revealed that he is not interested in upcoming Ghana Football Association elections.
The Tema Youth FC president stated that he’s not given it a thought yet though he’s feeling better now after taken ill some few months ago.
Due to the fact that he was disqualified from contesting the 2019 GFA presidential elections by the then Vetting Committee chaired by Mr Frank Davies Esq, Palmer was expected to make a big return to contest for the seat.
In an interview with graphic sports, the Veteran Football administrator says he’s not going to make a comeback to contest for the position.
“I’m feeling better now but as for the GFA elections, I have not given it a thought yet,” he affirmed.
He was a serious contender for the position before his appeal for a stay of execution of the GFA presidential election at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) until the determination of the case was dismissed, paving the way for the election, which was eventually won by Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku in 2019.
Despite his illustrious career in football administrator and his experience, the president and owner of the club has decided to not involve himself in the elections for the Ghana Football Association presidential elections this October.
