Isaac Atanga, the Ghanaian forward, showcased his talent by scoring his first goals for Aalesunds FK in a 3-1 victory over Molde in the top division of Norwegian football.
The 22-year-old striker found the back of the net twice in the second half, contributing to his team’s consecutive wins in the Norway Eliteserien. This victory comes after a winless streak of six matches.
These goals also mark Atanga’s first for Aalesunds FK in seven appearances since his arrival in March from Goztepe.
Aalesunds FK opened the scoring with a well-converted penalty by Moses Ebiye just before the end of the first half.
Sivert Heggheim missed a penalty for Molde, denying them the opportunity to equalize before the halftime whistle.
In the 57th minute, Isaac Atanga capitalized on an assist from Alexander Andersen to extend the lead for the home side, scoring their second goal of the match.
Just three minutes later, Atanga completed his brace, with Moses Ebiye providing the assist once again.
In the 90th minute, Niklas Odegard pulled one back for Molde, but it was not enough to alter the final score, which ended in a 3-1 victory for Aalesunds FK.
