Jeremie Frimpong provides two assists as Leverkusen reach German Cup quarter final

On Wednesday evening, Jeremie Frimpong, a Dutch youngster of Ghanaian descent, showcased his skills on the field as one of the standout players for Bayer Leverkusen in their German DFB Pokal match against Paderborn with two goal involvement to power his team to victory.

The versatile player, was positioned on the right-midfield and demonstrated his abilities to the delight of both his manager and the fans. The match saw Bayer Leverkusen make a bright start, swiftly taking the lead with striker Victor Okoh Boniface finding the net in the 12th minute.

Despite Paderborn equalizing in the 28th minute, Bayer Leverkusen regained the lead when Jeremie Frimpong provided an assist to Exequiel Palacios, who scored for the team. Frimpong continued to make an impact in the game, providing another assist in the second half, this time to forward Patrik Schick, who added to Bayer Leverkusen’s lead.

While Paderborn managed to score a consolation goal through Sebastian Klaas, it wasn’t enough to prevent them from suffering a 3-1 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

The victory in the round of 16 further solidified Bayer Leverkusen’s position in the German Bundesliga, demonstrating their strong performance in the competition.

The young player’s contributions, including his assists, proved crucial in securing the victory for Bayer Leverkusen. His performance drew praise from the fans and the team’s management, highlighting his growing importance within the squad.
