Solomon Sarfo Taylor, the striker for Asante Kotoko, has expressed his disappointment with the team’s lackluster performance in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League season.
Unfortunately, the Porcupines were unable to retain their title in the league. Ultimately, they finished fourth, with Medeama claiming the championship, followed by Aduana Stars and Bechem United.
Kotoko’s season concluded with a goalless draw against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
In response to the team’s performance on Facebook, Taylor conveyed his sadness, stating, “It’s really saddens us to end the season without a trophy. Our supporters deserves much better and to be frank they are the best. We had no option than winning because this is Kotoko sc, and Kotoko is meant for success and Greatness.”
“We are very sorry for the disappointment, but we will definitely comeback stronger.”
In twelve games for the Porcupines this season, Taylor netted three goals and registered two assists to help the Reds finish fourth on the log.
