Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has provided clarification on the substitution of Antoine Semenyo during the team’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, asserting that it was a technical decision and not due to any injury concerns.
In a post-game press conference, Iraola addressed the situation, emphasizing that Semenyo’s removal after 45 minutes was unrelated to injuries, similar to Ryan Christie’s situation.
“No injury. It was a technical decision. He could have continued,” stated Iraola, dispelling any speculations regarding Semenyo’s fitness.

However, Ghana faced disappointment with a group-phase elimination in Group B, securing only two points after three games despite aspirations of winning their fifth continental title.
