Italian Serie C side SS Arezzo has confirmed the loan signing of Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli in the ongoing Summer transfer.
The 25-year old Ghanaian is joining the club from Serie B side FC Sudtirol until the end of the 2023/24 season as he targets more playing time to aid his development.
Confirming Shaka’s signing, a statement on the club’s website read: “Società Sportiva Arezzo is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with the footballer Shaka Eklu Mawuli who is moving to amaranth from Südtirol on a temporary basis,”
“Born in 1998, originally from Ghana, Mawuli boasts over 100 appearances in Lega Pro with the shirts of Catanzaro, Fano, Ravenna, Sambenedettese, Lucchese and Südtitol with which he obtained promotion to Serie B where he made his debut during the last season.” the statement concluded.
Mawuli, would be hoping to enjoy a breakthrough at his new club to help him realise his dream of playing for the Black Stars in futures.
