Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has expressed his disappointment after the team could not secure all three points in their Ghana Premier League match against Young Apostles.
In a tightly contested game at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday, Antwi scored the equalizer in a 1-1 draw, yet he remains unsatisfied despite being named Man of the Match.
“Winning Man of the Match means nothing to me when you don’t get the three points,” Antwi shared with the Asante Kotoko media team. “I don’t go into the game to win individual awards if we don’t get the victory. It’s a bit disappointing, but that’s okay.”
Young Apostles took the lead in the 51st minute through Daniel Lomotey before Antwi leveled the score with a long-range shot in the 76th minute.
The result leaves the Porcupine Warriors with four points from their opening three matches as they look to improve in upcoming fixtures.
