Dan Quaye, a legendary figure at Hearts of Oak, has issued a call to the club’s supporters, urging them to unite in support of Togbe Afede XIV, the Chairman of the Board of Directors (BoD) at Accra Hearts of Oak.

The former defender holds an optimistic outlook, believing that the club can achieve a successful season ahead by garnering the backing of the fans in conjunction with the leadership of the club.

During an appearance on Kessben TV’s “Extra-time” sports show, Dan Quaye expressed his admiration for the direction in which Togbe Afede-led leadership has taken the club. He highlighted the ongoing infrastructural advancements at the club and the recruitment efforts in preparation for the 2023-24 season.

Dan Quaye emphasized the need for supporters to rally behind Togbe Afede, given the remarkable developments he has overseen for the club, particularly at the Pobiman training facility. Quaye went on to compare the club’s infrastructure to that of other prominent Ghanaian clubs like Ashgold and WAFA, praising the Chairman’s commitment to elevating the club’s facilities to a level of excellence unparalleled in the country.

In conclusion, Dan Quaye called upon the fans to recognize and appreciate the remarkable contributions that Togbe Afede has made to the club’s progress, urging them to offer their unwavering support as a testament to their appreciation for his efforts.

“It’s time to make him proud because if you look at the things he is doing for the club, the things he is doing at Pobiman, It is one of the best in the whole of Ghana.”

“Initially, it was Ashgold, and also WAFA who have such great facilities. I have not seen such a development like that in Ghana so the supporters should look at what he is doing for the club and support.”
