Ghanaian utility player Jeffrey Schlupp is eager to help Celtic secure victory over Bayern Munich in their Champions League playoff clash.
After missing out on automatic qualification to the knockout stage, the Scottish champions must now defeat the German giants to earn a spot in the Round of 16.
Schlupp, who joined Celtic on a short-term deal from Crystal Palace during the January transfer window, is confident that his team will give their all to advance.
“I’ve watched the other Champions League games and the boys have performed so well in it,” he stated.
“To be able to get a draw like Bayern Munich is very exciting for the fans and everyone involved with the club but, again, it’s a game that we’re obviously going to go and try to win.
“As much as enjoying the experience, it’s a game that we want to win and try to get through the play-offs.”
The 32-year-old former Leicester City forward is expected to play a crucial role in Celtic’s quest to retain their domestic title and make a strong impact in Europe.
