Anderlecht winger Jeremy Doku is excited to be back on the pitch again after several weeks of coronavirus break which led to a lockdown in many countries in the World.
The Belgium-born Ghanaian international was on target for Anderlecht in their 2-0 pre-season win over over St. Truiden.
Doku, who is eligible to represent either Ghana or Belgium at the senior level picked up from where he left off in the Belgium Jupiler League which was cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The 18-year-old broke the deadlock inside 35 minutes to put the the Belgium giant in front before the break.
Former Manchester City captain Vincent Company scored the second goal in the second half to make it a comfortable 2-0 win for the Purple and Whites as they prepare for the resumption of football in Belgium.
The youngster who is currently on the radar of English Champions Liverpool after the game, took to twitter to express his excitement after returning to the pitch to do what he loves.
