Ghanaian defender John Boye will lead the Metz team this evening as they take on his former club Stade Rennes at the Roazhon Park in a French Ligue 1 game.
Boye enjoyed five successful years at Rennes where he progressed from the second team to the main side before departing for Turkey in the Summer of 2015.
The experienced central defender is with the armband today as Metz seek an away win the crunch week 16 encounter.
Currently, Metz are 10th on the league log with 23 points where as Rennes are fifth with 28 points.
