John Eduafo has made a return to Asante Kotoko after the re-appointment of Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as the head coach of the club.
Eduafo, who previously served as a manager for Kotoku Royals in the 2022/23 season has been tasked to assist Ogum at Kotoko in the upcoming season.
During his previous stint at Kotoko, Eduafo worked alongside Prosper Ogum and David Ocloo, helping the club secure a league title. However, Ogum resigned from his position after the 2021/22 season.
Now, with Dr. Ogum’s return, John Eduafo is expected to join Asante Kotoko in Kumasi by the end of the week as the team prepares for the 2023/24 season preseason.
The technical team has already commenced player recruitment and is likely to start preseason training next week at the Adako Jachie Sports Complex.
Asante Kotoko, who withdrew from the Ghalca top 4, will participate in only the league and MTN FA Cup competitions.
Before this role, the 43-year-old had previously coached Inter Allies before their relegation.
