Leicester City have agreed a fee with Crystal Palace for Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew in the ongoing transfer winger.
A deal worth an initial £5million plus £3m in add-ons has been struck for the 32-year-old Ghana international, who started 30 Premier League matches for Palace last season.
He is set to undergo a medical and if all goes as planned will become the newly-promoted club’s seventh signing of the summer.
Ayew initially joined Palace from Swansea City on a loan deal in the summer of 2018 before making the move permanent the following year.
The Ghanaian has scored 23 goals across 211 appearances for the south London club.
He began his career at Ligue 1 club Marseille before scoring 13 goals for Lorient in the 2014-15 season, preceding a move to Aston Villa.
Ayew spent a season-and-a-half at Villa before joining his elder brother Andre at Swansea.
