English-Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu has completed a move to English Championship side Millwall, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2026/27 season.
The 27-year-old right-back had spent the past two weeks training with Millwall before the club finalised his transfer.
Osei-Tutu joins the Lions from Bolton Wanderers, where he played a key role in the club’s successful League One promotion campaign. He featured 42 times across all competitions last season and contributed four goals as Bolton secured promotion through the play-offs.
The defender developed at Arsenal’s academy before embarking on a series of loan spells that took him to German side Bochum, Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United.
He later made his move to Bochum permanent and subsequently gained further experience during a loan spell with Greek club Ioannina before returning to England with Bolton.
Millwall’s Director of Football, Steve Gallen, expressed satisfaction with the signing, describing Osei-Tutu as an experienced and versatile full-back.
Gallen said the defender’s pace and ability to handle one-on-one situations would strengthen the squad, while his capacity to operate on either side of the defence would give the club additional options.
“We’re pleased to sign Jordi Osei-Tutu,” said Steve Gallen, Millwall’s Director of Football.
“Jordi has been in training with us for two weeks and is an experienced full-back. He is quick and is a very good one-v-one defender.
“Jordi will provide good cover to us in both the right and left-back positions,” he added.
Osei-Tutu will now look to establish himself at Millwall as he begins the next chapter of his career, with competition for defensive positions expected to be strong.
