Former Tema Youth FC player Joseph Paintsil is already enjoying himself at the camp of the Black Stars in Kumasi.
The in-form Ghanaian attacker has finally returned to the Black Stars team since the last Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
He was surprisingly snubbed by coach Otto Addo ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament which was held in Qatar which raised concerns all over the country.
With his continuous improvement and consistent mouth-watering display in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League for KRC Genk, new head coach Chris Hughton has rewarded the player with a deserving call-up.
He’s expected to play a part in at least one of the games against South African country, Angola in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Kumasi and Luanda respectively.
25-year-old has 12 goals and 12 assists in 26 League games for Belgium Jupiler Pro League side KRC Genk.
