Stade Rennes sporting director Florian Maurice has spoken very high of Ghanaian wonderkid Kamaldeen Sulemana of FC Nordjaelland.
The 19-year old winger is the subject of several transfer speculations as Dutch giants Ajax were said to have agreed in principle with the player and his agents but now French side Stade Rennes have also been mentioned.
Florian Maurice who missed out on Real Valladolid defender Mohammed Salisu who joined Southampton instead has praised the qualities of Sulemana.
“He is a bit like Doku’s counterpart. Very strong characteristics in the one on one, dribbling.” Maurice said of Kamaldeen Sulemana whose current deal with Nordjaelland expires in 2024.
“He is a player that I really appreciate, contact already made. We study the track very strongly. There is a lot of competition on players like that ”he added.
The Stade Rennais transfer window promises to be lively as they seek to sign some of the talented youngsters in Europe ahead of next seasom.
